The models also helped the students understand the meaning of using models and their limitations, in order to explain or learn a particular concept (in this case cells). This is a project based demonstrating Art and Science skills in STEAM. https://t.co/S54bUfUv8b

These are from my Year 7s using their Arts skills to make 3D science models of Cells (animal and plant cells). The students researched and applied their theoretical knowledge on building these models. The models are made by recyclable materials that students found at home. https://t.co/QfD12VOggC

Men, it's okay to accept that you’re struggling. You don't need to have a stiff upper lip or pull yourself together. They are phrases of the past. We all have mental health, and we all need and deserve help when we struggle with it.

Our Facilities

Chobham has been designed by international architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (www.ahmm.co.uk), who have used upon their extensive experience in the design of educational facilities for children of all ages, with Lend Lease overseeing the development and construction of our buildings. The results are astonishing, and the campus is a focal point for local families living in East Village and the surrounding neighbourhoods for generations to come.

The main building is circular in shape and light, bright and airy throughout – often with floor to ceiling windows in classrooms. While the whole Academy works together as one, students of different age groups have their own entrances and exits, their own classrooms and toilets and their own playgrounds.

There is panoramic roof terrace from which students and staff see and are inspired by many of London’s most iconic buildings as well as, in the mediate vicinity, the whole of East Village.

These is a fabulous theatre, a large sports hall equipped for everything from dance to basketball, a suit of music rooms and lecture half for our Sixth Formers.

Outside there are playing fields, tennis courts and playgrounds for different age groups which will have lots of games and equipment for students to use during break and lunchtimes. With its location in the East village, the Academy has easy access to all manner of magnificent sports facilities in the Olympic Park.

The campus has recently won an award at the World Architecture Festival, for best new school building.
