Ms Collins led a session today with our trainees on embedding challenge into lessons. We know challenge is the core of the growth mindset, so we encourage our teachers to learn more about their students, ask open questions and encourage students to share opinions. https://t.co/NcExxnAAyo

Second Hand uniform

At Harris Academy Chobham, we are committed to supporting all the families in our community, especially those who may be encountering financial hardship. To ensure all students have access to the correct uniform, we have set up a system to re-use a range of high quality second hand uniform. These pre-loved items are available to be taken free of charge or in exchange for a small voluntary donation. Second hand uniform events are organised fortnightly at our partner venue in the Olympic Village so that children can select new uniform as they grow.

The events are held at The Hall, 2 Victory Parade, E20 1FS.

If you do find that you require a piece of uniform more urgently, please contact your child’s class teacher or Amanda King, our Assistant Principal responsible for these events.

The upcoming dates for this term’s uniform events can be found below.

Donating Second Hand Uniform

We are aware that many families re-use uniform within the family as sibling groups move through the school. If you do not have any use for your child’s unform once they grow out of it, please do bring it into school to be used again. We are very pleased to accept any pre-loved items of uniform that are washed and in good condition. Please bring any donations of uniform either to the school reception or to your child’s class teacher.

Re-using uniform not only supports another family in our community but it’s a great way of reducing waste and setting an example about how to look after our environment.

A huge thank you in advance for your donations!
