30 Hour Funding 

The 30 hour funding code is used to pay for your child's full-time Nursery place. If you don't have a code, you will be required to pay for the full-time place.   

  1. Who is the 30-hour funding scheme for?
    The government has extended the free 15-hours childcare funding to 30-hours for eligible working families. More information about eligibility can be found on the Newham council website here: https://families.newham.gov.uk/kb5/newham/directory/advice.page?familychannel=3&id=2bRwtEwAVoc
     
  2. How can I check if I am eligible for 30-hours free childcare?
    To check whether you are entitled to 30 hour funding, visit the gov.uk website here: https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare
     
  3. What do I do with my 30-hour code?
    If you have applied for a full-time place, please provide your 30-hour code to the admissions officer and office manager at the academy before your child starts. If you do not supply a code, you will automatically be charged admission fees.

Payment Methods

ParentPay

Payment is managed using an online payment system at www.parentpay.com . A ParentPay account when they start. Parent/carers can login online to see their balance and add funds. You can also see you transaction history so you know exactly what you have been charged. Contact the school office if you don’t have your username or password at primaryinfo@chobhamacademy.org.uk with 'ParentPay' in the subject header and include your full name, your child's full name and class in the body of the email.

Tax Free Childcare Account

  1. What is the Tax-Free Childcare scheme?
    The Government-backed Tax-Free Childcare scheme gives eligible families 20% off childcare costs. Parents are required to open an online Tax-Free Childcare account and the government adds 20p for every 80p you pay in. You then pay your childcare provider from that account.
     
  2. How do I add the school to my Tax-Free Childcare or childcare voucher account?

Childcare Voucher Schemes
