Globe Theatre Macbeth Workshop Trip
On Tuesday 14th June, The Harris Experience students went to The Globe Theatre to take part in a Macbeth workshop. The group were treated to a guided tour of Shakespeare's globe theatre, followed by a performance focused workshop on the play Macbeth. Students learned how to link Shakespeare's words with performance through physical action and expression, to deepen their understanding of the writer's craft. Overall, the students felt that they got a lot out of the trip, and as a group we had some really interesting discussions about multiple interpretations of Lady Macbeth's 'unsex me here' soliloquy, which was the focus of the workshop.
